The Jacobite steam train stopped at Mallaig for a couple of hours before it headed back to Fort William. When we stepped off, the dark clouds started rolling in. We did a short walk around the picturesque harbour before heading to the pub. Not many photos on this stop, but I wanted to share this one where the dark clouds jostle with the sunlight over the boats in the marina.

Beautifully done. Very crisp and clear. Those clouds look menacing, and I’m guessing it rained later that day. Hope you didn’t get wet and enjoyed the journey on the train to and fro. Train rides can be very peaceful 🙂
It rained on & off lightly so it wasn’t too bad. And the rain stopped for the train ride back. Very accommodating indeed !
I like this moody version. 🙂
Thank you. It was fab to see that you set the challenge yet again.
Nice and clear photo! very good! 🙂
Thanks !
Oh my gosh. The sky in this photo is spectacular!!
Blue sky would’ve made it a picture postcard. But the dark clouds & sun combination makes it moodier.
Love your reflections, Spotted. 🌈
