Old tobacco tins.
It would’ve been very clever if I had an image which said “the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog” then I would’ve had all the letters in the alphabet … but, apart from setting it up myself, what are the chances of that?

great photo! I was going to ask “are those tins for sale?” but read farther on that they were in a museum!
I think you can find those tins at garage sales and on eBay. I know people who collect them and look out for them there.
I’m one of them:)
Perfect!
Thank you.
Such a vibrant photo. It would make a fun jigsaw puzzle. (I think I’m in that mode since my mom and I have been working a few this winter.)
Gosh I haven’t done a jigsaw puzzle in ages. I bet it’s quite therapeutic. I believe that I still have a 5000-piece world map one with lots of challenging blue-sea bits.
Perhaps ‘jumps’ or there is no ‘s’ 😉 Love those old tins – still have a couple, emplooyed as screws and nuts containers, inherited from my father.:)
Oops ! Well spotted. I’ve corrected it now. I should be more careful about reading over. A million thanks.
Loved this shot. Wherever did you find it?!?!
It was in a museum of days gone by. It was quite fun. We wandered around and kept bursting out into
comments like “I remember my grandmother using a mangle like that on washing day!” And it was lovely to remember old packaging and design of everyday ordinary things like biscuit tins.
I love the photo! Good interpretation of the theme!
Thank you!
