It’s been very cold in London for the last two weeks and I wish it would snow properly like it’s doing in Scotland and other bits of the country. Like it did in the winter of 2010 / 2011 when the city turned into a magical white wonderland. At the moment, it’s just cold and what little snow we’ve had hasn’t settled. It’s a little bit unsatisfying. Hmph.

Be careful what you wish for 😉
Some of the biggest snowstorms in Washington, DC have come in mid-March, just as we think spring is ready to bloom! This year, we’ve had cold and some snow, but its the cities up north from us, especially Boston, that are getting hammered with feet and feet of snow, with back-to-back snowstorms/blizzards. I’m happy to NOT be them 😉
Yes, I’ve seen the snowstorm pictures on the news ! Amazing. I thought it would float across the ocean over to us. But we just got the grey and the rain !
Ha! My co-worker and I were just saying the same thing here. She bought new boots and a coat and we’ve barely had any snow. It’s freezing, but not magical. Just gray and chilling.
February really is the worst month because it’s still cold and dark and you can’t quite see the light at the end of the tunnel yet. I’m currently unfashionable (for the city) but warm in my North Face coat with hood everyday.
It never snowed when I was living in London but if you like, I’ll package up some of ours to send your way! 🙂
I hope it stays crisp in the mail. Ha!
I was thinking more like sea containers… one or two DOZEN! 🙂
LOL!!
It happens the same here. We have been waiting for the snow since December… I bet it will arrive in March when all we want is Spring already!
Oh no, definitely not in March! Like you, I will be yearning for longer days and a bit more warmth!
